Hey all...I have been feeling quad pain during my rides. crampy, tight, locking pain during longer rides. It usually starts on climbs and starts to hurts so bad I have to stop and let my legs rest for a few minutes. My quads lock up and my legs refuse to pedal. I have tried rollers and stretching out more often. I have also tried repositioning my seat and cleats. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks you in advance!!

Use easier gears. You should never feel your legs pushing on the pedals. Rather they should feel like they're gonna fall off from spinning so fast; like a hamster on a wheel. :)

+1 on spinning!! It took me a year to convert from stomping ;) to spinning but it was worth it - no more cramps and my endurance is way up. :D

I've been doing it all wrong for the last 40 years? Dammit!

Thanks all!! I really have to get the habit of spinning constantly....At times when I do long rides I find myself mashing more and more and then....uh oh!!! Here comes the pain!! Thanks again.
