Road Cycling - Lance is the man

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Perhaps this doesn't belong in this room, but I cannot help myself from refraining from writing this. Incredible, the adrenaline flowing from the accident, and the determination that Lance had on his face is epic. I just hope that he can continue in his quest, and that no one else gets hurt.
They are incredible athletes, all of them. Lance did admit he was getting close to the crowd, but I cannot understand why they let the crowd get as close to the riders as they do.
Anyway I am proud of him, and guess I am a bit biased since I am an American. Go Lance!

Luckily he was able to recover.

A fall from six feet can kill a man, he should be wearing a helmet (just trying stir the pot, hehe).
I think after meeting Arnold he became inspired!
Seriously, no doubt about it, he is the MAN! That was the first time I have ever seen him attack, how he can stay out of the saddle so much is beyond me.

I think that fall was the same as tugging on superman's cape.

yes. we should all start wearing helmets, if we are planning on walking anywhere. If we fell and magically somehow landed on our head (same thing as a 0mph fall on a bike) we could get killed.
Dont leave the bedroom without it!

How can you control 600,000 people every day over almost 200km?
