I am wondering how you guys tell which part of the bike(frane wheels etc) is flexing when you are riding because I can tell there is some flex just dont know from where?
thanks

Essentially, the BB is swaying back and forth between the contact patches of the wheels. Everything is flexing to a degree.

Yep, everything from the saddle rails down to the tires is flexing.

if you have a trainer you can see the flex since the rear triangle is rigid. If you sit on the bike in front of a mirror you can really see how the handle bars flex, it's quite impressive really how much it flexes. You can detect wheel flex from hearing rubbing on the brake pads.
My rear triangle flexes and the rear wheel rubs one the brakes when climbing :(

if .. You can detect wheel flex from hearing rubbing on the brake pads.
Ah right, is that what that was. Sometimes I heard the brakes rub then later when checking the wheel for true, I didn't hear any rubbing.

I just open mine up a bit. I like the squishy feel of soft brakes anyway.
I though this thread was about erectile disfunction.....but still clicked on it anyway.
