Introductions - Hi...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I live in Atlanta, Ga. I am riding a presumably 1960's Huffy three speed (found it in some sale in my area) mainly for the purposes of keeping fit. I couldn't exactly confirm what "ages" it belongs to, as there is absolutely nothing on it to show that. I am a new comer to Bicycle riding ( after about 35 years of a hiatus). I do not yet ride the streets, but I hope to do so soon. Thanks. I had earlier bought a new bike but I prefer this old machine and really find it more comfortable and well built.Thanks.

Welcome TMY! SOme of those older Huffy's were a pretty reasonable bike. Enjoy your time on Bike Forums!

Hello TMY, I'll bet if you post photos someone here can help you figure out the age (sometimes we can figure it out based on the components), but it doesn't really matter as long as you are enjoying the ride :) .

Don't forget to check out the regional forums--there is a vast host of Bike Forums members in the Atlanta area.

Welcome to BF!

Hi TMY and welcome to BikeForums.
Stop by the Southeast subforum (see the Atlanta/Decatur thread) and tell us about yourself.
Brings those bikes to Intown Bicycles (http://www.intownbicycles.com) (near 10th St. and Monroe Dr.) and we'll get them tuned up for you.
