I think that if Ras made it to the final TT he might have lost enough time to actually fall to 4th place on GC.

Then again, with his squeaky clean training program in Mexi... er.... Italy, who's to say he wouldn't have challenged Levi's time in that TT?

I think a better question is what if Rasmussen wasn't in it at all? It would've been a completely different race......though you might say that Rasmussen being clean would've been the exactly the same thing. Gain some time early in the mountains, loose it all in the TT.......

To me, I feel especially bad for Mureau. Had Vino not been in the race at all, most likely, that attack on Stag 11 would not have ocurred, and who knows how he fares in the mountains.

Given that he did not really attack in the mountains, could very well mean at that point he had given up.

that attack on stage 11 was the best thing i'd seen in years. someone's gotta start shaking things up on the flat or rolling stages again.

If Rasmussen is back next year I wonder if he gets another 3 minute all to himself kinda stage.

Mick- that's a big question mark, unfortunately we'll never know
Stuart-Still Boonen's green, MAYBE Hunter and Zabel slip a spot
Vino-his crash had relegated him to a noncontender anyway
Ras-wonder if Sastre might have attacked later if he didn't need as much time to overtake Conti as he thought he did on Ras
Cofidus was out of contention anyway.

Stuey actually said from the start that he was giving up a shot at the green to work for Sastre-Schleck and of course he ended up working for Cancellera from the start too.
