That's crazy.
Only a wuss would...
a) attack a girl
b) need a knife to do it
If that happened to my wife and I, hopefully I would still be kicking the crap out of him when the police arrived.

I heard about that on the news last night. That scares me - I was thinking of doing some riding on Katy Trail, now I'm hesitant until that guy is caught.

I'll be looking for him. Katy Trail is a nice 3.5 mile trail, covered with shade in most parts and kept up real well. Its too bad these incidents happen and will scare people away from this nice escape from the urban scene in the middle of city.

Yeah I would hate to be a 5-foot-7 inch physically fit bald white man, with a full dark mustache who rides a black Specialized road bike. You are likely to get the living shiznit beat out of you just for fitting this scumbag's description. Everybody I've talked to who rides in that part of Dallas is trying to find this guy, and the area bike shops are watching for him too.

yeah, I feel sorry for his double when I give him a "Cinzano" and then call the cops.

They should not let him be eligible for bail. It peeves me when they let someone who is an obvious danger to society out on bond. I'm all for a fair trial, but he could be easily id'd in a line up by the victim. (and probably already has). Glad he is off the street for now. Anyone know of this guy through riding, etc?

I'd heard about this from one of the regulars at the Starbucks I work at (Knox street). I'm glad they have a suspect in custody! Since I'm a bicycle commuter, stories like that bug me.
hats off to the guys at RBM for being on the ball!!!...glad they got that prick.
