I've seen this on some top of the line BMX bikes and saw a picture of a street mtn bike with a Euro BB. What is it exactly. The shell looks the same as the regular mtn bike BB. Is there a difference? Is it stronger or something? Help me out, please.:(

A Euro bottom bracket is simply the type of bottom bracket that threads into the frame. The opposite - an American Bottom bracket - is the type that uses pressed cups and either loose or sealed bearings. They are found in cheap walmart bikes and many bmx bikes.
