I am doing the Esparto time trial on August 12 for the first time and won't have the opportunity to ride the course ahead of time. The 18 mile out-and-back course is described as flat with a few small rollers (a la Snelling). I would appreciate any further insight on the course. How is the road surface? wind? the turnaround? hills? Thanks in advance.
