Hi,

I have a Specialized Sport (w/disc beakes) and need to put a front rack on it. Anyone has an idea what might fit on that? I have mid-fork braze-ons and "back eyelets" on the tip of the fork.

I'd prefer not to go with the "attaches onto the hub with a longer quick release" approach...

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, the rack's frame needs to be tubular, as I have Arkel T-28s - I've seen some that couldn't take them.

Thanks!

JP

After a lot of clicking, reading, phoning and asking around, I managed to find a rack that suits my needs: the Old Man Mountain AC Low Rider. Fits pretty well. I can't get it to be perfectly horizontal because of the bike clearance, but I can get it horizontal enough. I may have to create some sort of spacer to add clearance for the disc break as the bag tends to rest on the piston. I'll manage to figure something out.
