I'm very exited about this! it'll be my first "proper" roadbike. After a complete body measurement and some very good advice from the shop owner, I bought myself a '02 Stappenbelt aluminium with complete new 105 group and rigida rims. It also has Ritchey parts throughout and a Fizik Pave saddle. Stappenbelt is a famous bikeshop here in the Netherlands that also makes it's own frames. The bike looks awesome, can't wait to pick it up on saturday!
There's more, on sunday I will be leaving for the dolomites in Italy, where I will be riding my it up the Passo di Gardena (2121 m.), the Passo di Sella (2213 m.), the Passo di Pordoi (2239 m.) and the Passo di Campolongo (1875 m.) and what more!

Congratulations, Erik, with your Stappenbelt Stud! Sounds (do post a picture, later on) like a fine ride to me. And don't let your excitement ruin your sleep: you will need a lot of energy to conquer those Italian giants! Have fun!

Lucky guy! I'd love to do the passes with you (like I'd be able to keep up!) Make sure you take the camera with you and post them!

:) Thanks!

Ofcourse I'll take some pictures of the bike (on the top of one of the passes) and post the porn here when I get back. It might take a few weeks though, since I won't be back from Italy before aug 8th.
