We got an old New Departure hub, Model D, we are suppose to lace up. Problem is, cog still on it. Firstly, is the lockring reverse threaded? Secondly, any tips on securing the hub so we can get torque to remove aforementioned lockring? We are currently experimenting. Thanks

OK, lockring is reverse threaded. Vise cog in wood worked well.
