I've been collecting components for this bike for a year or so. Everything is complete except for my new IRD 12-30 cassette which is still on order, and I need to purchase some new pedals.

Yeah, I crash too, but the setup is for dry conditions anyway with the Vittorias. Some of the components are leftover from my road bike upgrades. Others just sort of appeared once I went down the campy route. I also decided to go w/ a medium cage der. to match the 12-30 or 12-32 cassette. We'll see how it shifts once I get it mounted.

So far it handles really well. Quite responsive and light. I'm surprised at how well the TRP's work. Haven't tried them in the rain yet. I'll be using this mostly for commuting across town through some single track area & paved trails.

I need to add some pedals to this rig. Anyone using eggbeaters? I'm thinking of trying them?

Just lowly 105/Ultegra for me! Loving the bike so far though. Thinking about upgrading the fork to WCS or Reynolds Ouzo Cross to drop 1/2lb. Also considering some Paul brakes.

I like the Solitudes a lot! Light (1550 grams), quite stiff, durable, and a good price, can't really go wrong with them IMO.

My wife gave me a Con Crosso for Christmas. It came on my birthday in February and we did the build with Centaur. Love the bike. It weighs in at 19 lbs w/o pedals. I have put about 900 miles on it this year, mostly on gravel roads. I can't wait to do some races on it this fall. It should be faster/lighter than my Surly.

Cool! Glad to see all the Chili's out there. I've been riding mine non stop for a few weeks now. It's been raining the last few days and I have good news to report. My brake set up is TRP w/ black Koolstop pads. They seem to be working flawlessly. Even in wet grimy muddy conditions the braking is good with modulation. Crap still builds up on the rim, but the pads seem to maintain good braking abilities with not much noise.
