Hello,
I use my bike to commute to work daily. It is a short distance of 4 miles each way. One of my reasons for bike commuting is for exercise, so I try to push myself and ride hard each way.
I'm curious if it is a problem to never "artificially" replace electrolytes? It only takes me 10-15 minutes each way, so all I really drink is a little bit of water at a stoplight or two, and a bit more when I get to work or home. However, I do sweat quite a bit, so I'm not sure if electrolyte loss is compounding every day...?
I have an average diet (moderate-to-healthy meals), so I'm guessing that helps normalize everything?
Thanks,
Jason
