Bicycle Mechanics - Use DT Proline Washers in new wheel builds?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I just read that wheel building book by Schraner and he suggests that if the hub's spoke holes are larger than 2.3mm you should use the proline washers.
What do you wheel builders do?
Where do you even buy them if you do use them? I did a search and could only find UK sources.

Most stores that sell DT spokes should be able to get the washers, I got a box a short while back - it should last a lifetime! I think they come in a box of 1000.

Stopped using the washers years ago. Not absolutely necessary but a nice touch. Using the proper spoke tension makes it unnecessary.
