Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hello
I'm a 41 years old heavy guy (but with a nice athletic past as a Rugby player, 5.9 ft 200 pounds).
I decided to start to bike a month ago and I’m biking 3 times a week 12 miles with an average of 14 Miles/hour twice each of the 3 days.
I would like to know were I can find training information to improve long distance biking.
Thanks a lot

I haven't read them though, but they look like they might be what you're looking for. Welcome to the forum and cycling!

try the LD subforum. you're no where near there class yet, but they all started somewhere & because of the unique demands they place on their bodies, the tend to read a lot of training type materials.
I'm pretty much in the same situation (ex-rugby player, front row forward, etc.) and I found that joining a local club helped a lot with rides, etc. Bicycling magazine had some videos and work out plans too on the website. http://www.bicycling.com/topic/0,6614,s1-4-443-0-0,00.html
