Trebor Snave

Well, it looks like I’ll fit in here!
Not quite 6 feet and 228 lbs after my ride last night. A hair over 9 miles in 46:16, with a total climb of 529 feet on some pretty washboard-y gravel roads; by the time I stopped in the driveway I was about 30 seconds shy of losing my lunch. I’m actually pretty proud of myself, since it’s only the second ride I’ve done this year and I feel pretty darn good today. Last summer when I was riding a little more frequently, I was able to do 12.5 miles over the same route in just over an hour – I’m going to be back to that level in a couple of weeks. And then I’m not stopping, which is the problem I have every fall. Got my eye on a 23 mile route I want to do… Soon! I CAN do it.
Most of the riding around here is a mix of gravel roads and pavement, so I’m plugging along on my old Giant Rincon mtb that got a new suspension fork this spring. I’m in the process of building a Softride road bike, but it’s just a bare frame right now. I've got some long rides scheduled for this bike, eventually!
Hope you all have good rides this weekend; I'm going to!
