why do they have to be name brand? not being a dick, just wondering. by the time you cut them down, and put on grips, your logos will be close to being covered up. perfomance wise, my freebees have held up to months of hard abuse. just curious.

its just that when you get tired of your old gear, ppl relate to name brand stuff in ads , hence making it easier to unload.

Half of 'name brand' stuff like bars and brakes are just rebaged OEM stuff anyway. If you're gonna worry about name brand, risers should be the last thing you worry about.

Its true really.
I have a set of Nitto risers and they flex quite a bit.
Theyre gold anodized though so thats all that matters. :)

You're actually worried that cheap-o $10 riser bars won't retain their resale value, yet the depreciation on name-brand bars would almost certainly be greater than $10.

But then again, I have cut up some cheap Huffy bars for use, too. I'm no snob. If it works, it works.
