Greetings,
I've newly returned to bicycling, after a 25 year absence, and I wasn't a great rider back then! Seems like there's a lot more to see and choose from than there was back in the day, and I'm quickly gaining an appreciation for all the new stuff out there! A bicycle really is the Best Machine Ever. Also, things (on me:)) don't twist and bend as well as they used to, so I'm giving a good look to some kind of recumbent. And, I'm very interested in helping my car into early semi-retirement. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

Hello Tony, both a bent convert and looking to go car free or car lite--excellent!

Where are you located?

Welcome to BF!

Hi,
I'm in the Indianapolis area (fairly flat, thankfully) now, originally from Bloomington. Don't think I could go back to riding all those hills just yet. Need to get my legs back! I'm close to work, in a good bicycle friendly area, lots of paths and trails. Commuting just seems too logical. That and every time someone blows past me on a tadpole I think of Will Smith in Independence Day..."I have got to Get me one of these!"
