Okay, after weeks of debating of getting a road bike (with gears!) I decided that I would order one today. Thanks to my race sponsor I am getting a 2007 Tarmac Team. Scoring this 3700 dollar bike not available to the public for a mere cheap price after freight and bikes belong. I don't have the actual picture in, as I won't have the bike till next Thursday.

But I have the picture specialized put out.

Not sure on the specs but here is what I have figured out so far.

Frame: S-Works tarmac frame :D:D:D:D:eek:!
Shifters: Ultegra
Ders: Dura Ace
Wheels: Roval Eppache
Cranks: FSA Carbon
Pedals: Dura ace
Brakes: Ultegra

I am so excited. I am wanting to jump up and down. Weight should be around 16 pounds 4 ounces without pedals, size 61.

This will replace my old bike, Giant OCR 3. As my race rig, I am not sure what I am going to do with the XXX lites. I think I'll just sell them and keep the Giant for parts.

Heres the pic, its the best I can get.

Whats wrong with an OCR3, with full Ultegra and XXX race lites?

Nothing - except at that point, it's not really an OCR 3 anymore, is it? :p

Gratz on the bew bike!

No. But it sure was fast.

I think this one will be less comfortable but a lot faster.

Out of curiosity, what size frame did you get?

For my OCR XL and for my Tarmac 61.

I am 6 foot 6.

I edited my post, I was talking on the phone to a friend who thinks is 58 is to small for him. So he is coming to let me fit him tomorrow.

It is weird when you think something and it appears accidentally.

I found a picture of what they look like actually. Having only seen that picture. I can only tell you that I am more physched than you would believe.

Yeah, I thought you were pretty tall. I'm surprised you can ride production frames.

That's a sweet looking ride. I like the paint - more subdued than the normal S-Works. I'd be psyched too!

The companies have really gotten better about making big frames. I mean a 61 is huge. I can comfortably ride a 58 specialized. But 61 is my actual size. The XL is also really big. I know people that are 6'3 who ride a L/58. Trek is the only big company that still makes really tiny frames.

Funny you should mention - I'm 6'3" and ride a Large OCR. I didn't realize that the XL was that much bigger though.

Wow... that bike looks awesome! How did you get a sponsor? That's wicked!

Many phone calls and desperate pleas. I could get the same deal through EP but I really wanted to be sponsored. It was a goal I was looking for a long time.

thats a great looking bike. I've always had a prejudice against red bikes but I might have to re-assess this.
