Is there a breakdown of the number of riders by country of origin anywhere? Be kind of interesting. The closest I got by Google was spectators by country.

A couple of weeks ago I found a listing of all the teams, their riders, and their nationalities. Can't remember where. Keep digging. Maybe there is an official TdF site.
versus.com has the riders and countries of origin. Count the number of riders from each country. The numeric solution is left as an exercise for the student.

41 – Spain
36 – France
19 – Germany
18 – Italy
13 – Belgium
7 – The Netherlands
6 – Australia, USA and Russia

4 – Kazakhstan
3 – Austria and Colombia
2 – Belarus, Luxembourg, Norway and Ukraine
1 – South Africa, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Lituania, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovenia and Sweden
