I was thinking of getting this book and I was wondering if anyone has any comments on this book.

I have the "...Road Bike Maintenance" version and it's the most useful book I own.

I own both Zinn books (one was a gift), and they are great, possibly the best there are.

I've got the Mountain Bike version. I still think that the ultimate resouirce has been my set of Barnette's manuals, but the Zinn book has been very helpful.

I have the mtb one; it was pretty much what got me started with mainting my bikes.. something for which i am forever greatful!
I've got the Zinn book. Very informative, but I'd have appreciated more diagrams than it has. I do find the diagrams a bit naff and some topics are a bit generalised but overall, not a bad book. Barnett's are superb with excellent diagrams but sometimes Barnett's have too much information! Best to have both as that way you will on average, be just fine!

Joeprim,
Only a little difference in the two books. However, the MTB has a sections on shocks & sram shifters which may be worth the cost.
