Tandem Cycling - Santana Dealer in Southern California?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Bud's Bike Shop has turned into Jax, and they do not seem at all interested in servicing our tandem (and unable to order parts). Does anybody have any recommendations for a tandem friendly bike shop? ...preferably in Orange County, but LA and SD are okay as well.

Thanks!

When I went to Buds and found Jax instead they did not want to talk Santana either (they are solely a Trek dealer) but one employee clued me in on the following which is a new Santana dealer. The owner, Hrach, rides a Santana Beyond and has at least 5 Santana on the floor. He is a nice guy.

I am from the San Diego area and the Trek Superstore in La Mesa (suburb of San Diego) is the local Santana dealer down here and where we bought our new Santana (due in about a week now). Talk to Larry or Matt

They also have a location in Vista (just east of Oceanside) but not certain they have Santana tandems at that location.

You can call Santana, (800) 334-6136, and they will give you dealers nearby you.
