I assembled it and took it for a ride today! Wow, I was using a hybrid cheapie bike and my speed increased very nicely! Big difference! I picked up a Mercier Aquila Euro from:

I love it, I didnt have alot of money to spend and I really think this fit the bill! I have to get used to the shifters somewhat but on the initial ride I did pretty well! I get to try it out for real this saturday, I am going to ride the Longleaf trace here in Mississippi! http://www.mylongleaftrace.com Its a old railroad line they paved for a bicycle trail! I am not going to do the whole thing, at this time i probable dont have the staying power for a 88 mile ride from one end to the other and back! But I am planning on doing about half of it! Or at least try! This is my first real distance bike trip! I have been doing 10 miles a night but working more strength, keeping in low gear even up hills! Someone told me this was a good training idea! We will find out! Well like I said I am happy with my new bike and hopefully I can save up and get a even better one some time soon! I am hooked!!!!!!!
