Europe - Jerez Spain- road conditions

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Looks like my bride and I will honeymoon in Jerez. While she is dancing flamenco I am wanting to get out on the road. Any experiences anyone can provide would be worth hearing.
Like: Shall I pack my hearty urban commuter hybrid or the road bike? What are the road surfaces like? Can I count on traffic hazzards or drivers that are accustomed to bikes?
Any routes?
Any advice at all would be appreciated.

[/URL] Jajajaja Flamenco, very funny. Congratulations for your wedding.
If you go in summer, take a towell go to the beach and forget the bike. The temperature growe near the 35-40 ēC. Don´t worry every hotel have air condition. North Spain is more beautifull if you want to ride your bike(here a photo of Asturias) If you like madieval age bulding visit Castilla y Leon http://www.turismocastillayleon.com/cm/tkMain?locale=es_ES&textOnly=false (http://imageshack.us). Mountains the Pirineos, beach the zone you go (visit Cadiz, Sevilla and Cordoba) and Valencia.
South Spain and Valencia are only for beach in summer. Spain have 15 "comunitys" similar than the states of USA North looks more european and the south looks more like the south america countries(well really we built there like here).
There are some bike parks. Wisit wallnord.com web site.http://www.vallnord.com/index.asp?idioma=1
