Trying to find routes for taking round trips from my home in Melvindale, to make 20 mile rides after 8:00 PM when it's cool.

Melvindale is in Southeast MI, in Wayne County. The township was once a segment (so was Allen Park) of Dearborn, but is now a small township.

With head-light and tail-light in tow, I'm wondering of good (traffic-safe) road routes to ride from Melvindale and within the Dearborn area in the evenings.

How can I get generic road maps of the Dearborn Michigan area that can be carried on my bike?

How can I get specific road maps for the Dearborn area ... and the Hines Drive area ... with Melvindale as the starting point?

You should be able to pick up Outer Drive in Melvindale, and take it all the way to Hines Drive.

I'm a newbie, so take this with a grain of salt, but as much as I love riding around here, I get the hell off the roads around after dark.
