Make sure it's ok. Good way to start is to have the BB greased, ask the mechanic
to check for rust.

If it has steel rims, consider ditching them and getting some new ones. They will be tons lighter, and the brakes will still work if they get wet. Had some close calls on my old Varsity when things got wet.

Saddle doesn't look very comfy, does it?
