I was just sitting here reading the story of Tim O'Donnell. It really has me thinking about how I ride. Tim and his friends were doing everything right, but as my tag line says I often go for the exception rather than the rule. I do this on my bike sometimes, too. I run stop signs when I think I can get away with it, I push the envelope when I am in traffic, I try to force my "rights" as a cyclist. I want to apologize to my brothers and sisters on two (and three) wheels. I have, at times, given cyclists a bad name and not represented us very well on the road. To all of you here I say, "I am very sorry and will work very hard, from now on, to be a good example of what a responsible rider should be."
And I will do what I can to help promote responsible riding among our community or riders.
Please help me in this.
Thank You
