When assembling a bike is there any specific things that i should take the time to do. Cuz of right now i know i need to just bolt on the parts to the frame and grease the parts that need be; is there anything else that needs to be done?

Is the frame brand new?

If so, make sure to have the BB and headtube faced and chased if you haven't already.

um i guess make sure you know the pros cons and opposing view points on greasing certain bits (spindles! tapers!) and I guess you should be ok, fixed gears are pretty easy like that, aside from chain tension and line there isnt much fine tuning to do.

Sounds like you've got it. The grinding sound and feeling of the bike pulling about 15 degrees to the left are totally normal. Good luck!

Yes. Also, if it's new and steel, hit the insides with framesaver, linseed oil, or something similar.

If the bottom bracket doesn't have a drainage hole, you might want to drill one, but that's fairly contentious.

Perfectly clean nuts and bolts and oil or grease on every threaded fastener.

Question in regards to frame saver:

How long does this take to dry, and where is the best place to get ahold of it.

Assuming a bike was put together w/o being frame savered, I assume removing all components from the bike would be the best thing to do.

Also, how often should one reapply FS.
