Classic & Vintage - Help, need to find a TA bottle cage part quickly

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Was there a jinx in the recent threads about clamp-on bottle cages?
The white plastic top piece on my TA bottle cage broke yesterday.
Does anyone happen to have one of these lying around? Black, clear, or white would be fine. Glad to pay a fair price plus shipping of course. Please PM me.
I'm riding this bike in a 100K event this Saturday 8/11. I'd like to replace the broken piece rather than putting a different cage on, if I can.
Thanks!
(PS - Thanks Iowegian for the bottle cage, intron for the clamps)

hey,
is that actually a TA bottle cage ?
there are currently manufactured cheap no-name copies of these cages that look just like the one pictured.. your local shop or other neighborhood-type joint may have them..
i'm pretty sure the part would fit

This is a vintage 70s bottle cage and I'd like to keep it that way if possible - everything on the bike is original or period correct. (except routine replacement stuff like the tires, bar tape, etc.)
I *think* it's TA and not a copy ... the plastic piece does not have the TA logo on it, but TA made them both with and without the logo (examples (http://www.blackbirdsf.org/ta/bottle.html)). So I "decided" it's real TA. It is from the 1970s, per Iowegian who sent it to me.
I have not seen new knockoff cages with this distinctively shaped plastic piece on top. Have you?
If I end up having to replace the cage with something new that's similar but not an exact match, Velo-Orange sells one for $7.50 that looks good. link (http://www.velo-orange.com/alewaboca.html)

I found one LBS that says they sometimes have them - currently out of stock. We'll see, thanks.
