Seems like a legit (albeit n00b-ish) question to me. He really didn't know and didn't claim to know much. He acknowledged everyone's input and seemed to take the advice he was given. And coming from a BMX background, I sincerely believe that he will test the bike's limits the minute he leaves the shop.
