So I got the knackered out sealed bearing out of my hub, and I've got a couple of questions. 1) Have any of you ever run ceramic bearings or know much about them, and 2) any tips on putting the new bearings back in the hub? tap it in with a wood block and mallet?

Ceramics are good for roadies, but you would crush them in a BMX if you beat on it a bit.

Block of wood and a hammer is one way, the other way is to make a press out of a threaded rod (like ready rod), two washers and two nuts.
