Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, soy nuts, peanuts? What is your crunchy seed munching weapon of choice?

Mine is the pumpkin seed. Good in the shell or out.

I like seeds and nuts.

Yum - came back thru Ithaca today on a bus (ahhh, such is the life of a commuter) but they had an awesome organic store there.

Munched on curried cashews on the way home. Yum!

We used to make baked pumpkin seeds at Halloween after we carved out the pumpkin. They were ok. The only seeds I've eaten recently were apple seeds. Not my favorite...

I loved that organic store I ran into while waiting for the Greyhound bus this morning. If I had more money, I would have stocked up on some great food stuffs - phooey on hauling it home - I'm already overloaded with two backpacks, sleeping bag and hanging bike helmet ...

Our organic stores here are not so diverse and large as this one was. And the nuts section was just ... NUTS!

I don't like seeds. I tend to try to avoid them and nuts like the plague...I hate texturizing my food with those items (ps I like nuts as nuts, not as garnish)...

Its right up there with foam.

Had a freind in college who forgot to remove the seeds from some "greens". One of them exploded and he could not find the tip anywhere. He was just turning into the Frat house and checked his car to no avail.
Well, 2 hours later we all pour out of the house to go to an intramural softball game, and his car is just filled with smoke... burned a huge hole in the front seat, right where he had to sit to drive.:eek:

So, yeah, I'm with TS...hate seeds.

If there's a Costco by where you live, they have 4# packages for around $14. Not cheap, but not too expensive. Tasty, too.
