Hi I'm new around here, just wanted to say hi. I found the forum while researching a ride in NV and CA I will be doing later this month. I will be joining up with a friend who left the midwest on his way to touring around the world for the next year. Unfortunately I will have to return to work after just 10 days.

My background is running, triathlon, camping, etc...

Since it seems like everyone is into declaring what kind of bike(s) they have mine are as follows:
Giant TCR aero
Trek X01
Quintana Roo Tequilo
and from the past:
Trek 6000
Sekine

Yes that makes five bikes...shhh don't tell my wife.

Hello dilly bar, blast from the past with that Sekine...World's finest!

Are you located in Northern California? Which ride? And don't worry, we won't tell anyone about the bikes :) .

Welcome to BF!

East Hill, The Sekine is olive green to boot. Got it for $10 at a garage sale down the street, they wanted $15 for a huffy at the same sale, go figure.

Located in Northern MN but I have family in NorCal. My friend is joining the Western Express route in Pueblo (should be there any day). Yes he will be doing UT and NV in August solo.
