over the past month and a half ive gone from about 10 cups a day to just 2. one in the morning and maybe one in the after noon. afternoon cup is usually just to relax and enjoy. i feel like i have way more energy!

yeah, caffeine addiction is a beast. I found I could make a big glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and it had just as big, if not more of a energy rush than my usual morning double shot of espresso, so that helped me quit caffeine altogether in a few days. Maybe give it a try, I used 2-3 juice oranges (yes, they are actually called "juice oranges", they have a more greenish skin than the normal eating oranges).

congrats on kicking the habit!

i always wonder what people mean when they speak of a cup of coffee. are we talking about 8oz or Starbucks Grande or McDonalds Large?

Yeah, I came to realize I've been overdosing myself. Used to get up and make a 8-10 cup (pot of coffee each morning. By the end of the work day, I had pretty much had the whole pot.

Been using a French press I have lately, and I'm doing just fine on probably half the coffee I was imbibing before. I'm a little more even keel during the day now too.

as far as size in the morning i usually drink the equivelent(sp?) of between a starbucks grande and venti. in the after noon i drink a starbucks size tall.

probably 18oz in the morning. 12oz in the afternoon.
