any cyclocross riders in the fox valley? i'm wondering about good places to ride that would have similar terrain to a cyclocross course...the mixture of paved, off road, hills, etc.
any of the parks from oshkosh to green bay have any good loops?
thanks in advance.

I dont have a cross bike but Im saving for a trek X01. Best place would probably be reforestation camp in GB for cross. Bairds Creek is 95% crazy single-track so its not the best.

The guys I know that race 'cross simply ride their local park. Find a volleyball court to ride the sand and make a few wooden barriers to hop. One guy made a course in his back yard. :)

i figured parks would provide the best mix. i grew up in metro milwaukee, and i remember greenfield park having a network of trails through the woods in addition to the paved roads and paths.
i guess i'll just have to get off my butt and explore all my local parks. i can think of worse things!
