Hello,
Soon I will be in London England and am wondering if anyone had any tips on finding a nice frame to bring back to the states. I've heard of countles frame building shops and flea markets so I figure there must be some old 531c's kicking aorund for a reasonable price. Also, there is a good chance I will be spending time in Belgium, the Netherlands and Ireland, are there better prospects there, am I to rely entirely upon luck?
Thank you.

When in Brussels, come and have a beer.
And a look. What size you need?
Flanders has probably the highest density of cyclotourists or sunday racers in the world, there is some nice stuff around. And classic steel is not yet a hype.
But transport may be more costly than the purchase price.Unless you only take the campy stuff with you.Or have a sweet deal with Fedex. Then you can start taking orders.

Jaakfrans,
I'm looking for something maybe 51cm, which from what I've seen of the flemish may be a pretty tall order in Belgium.
By time a really meant a couple of days. whoopsies!

There is a good thread about bringing a bike on a plane here.

If the box is greater than 62" (L+W+D), you can get charged $80 for an oversized piece of luggage. But, it seems this rule is more strictly enforced in the states instead of elsewhere. You may get lucky coming back from the UK.
