Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi All,

I am currently in the 7th week of my world tour which started in KL, Malaysia and sees me currently 300km South of Bangkok. For more info, check out www.traveljournals.net/travelers/damo

Anyway, i was wondering if anyone has some info about good bike stores in Bangkok, preferably ones with English-speaking workers. I'm looking to pick up a couple of new Shwalbe tyres.

Finally, i just wanted to say that this forum is absolutely killer and undoubtedly the best source of touring info on the net. Thanks to everyone that supports it and i hope you all keep doing so.

Probike is probably your best bet. They speak english and are pretty friendly. It's close to the Sky Train as well, Rajadamri station. It's on Sarasin Rd. which runs along the west side of Lumpini Park.

Check out http://www.probike.co.th/contact_us.php for directions.

If they don't have what you need, there are some shops in Chinatown on Luang Road near an intersection called Worachak (or Vorachak, can't remember).

Hope that helps.
