Don't let USAZorro hear you say that! :)

I'd not say it couldn't possibly be true, since I've never ridden Gran Bois. I do have a friend who's recently gotten some, and really likes them. I have a small store of tires sitting in the shop, so it will likely be a while before I try some. The only negative (what can I say, I'm thrifty :o ) is that I could run through 3 sets of Paselas for the price of one set of Gran Bois. Maybe once our daughter finishes college, that won't matter to me.

I think you mean July 28th, no?

Correct, my mistake.

As a fun little aside, the "Confrerie de 650" has this to say on the matter:

"To guarantee the preservation and development of a wheel size of proven practicality, the 'Confrérie des 650' extends a welcome to all those amorous of charming rides, of superb journeys and long brevets in the comfort and serenity that can only be obtained from the particular sensation of the 650B and its warmth and rapport with other converts."

Translated from the original French, of course, but still... now we all understand the point of the 650B. (Unless, of course, you are not "amorous of charming rides.")
