I work for a small manufacturing company. As long as my inbox is empty, no work left undone, boss does not care what I do.

I with jsharr and do all his work. So when I finish all jsharr's work, he doesn't mind me goofing on here either.

Sorry I just joined BF and did not know. I have just gotten a really good job but there is not much to do sometimes. There is absolutely nothing to do on my desk so this is better than sleeping.

There must be something to do. It's just less fun than this.

I am trying hard to be a self starter this morning, but I keep getting sucked back into BF.

I get paid by your tax dollars. I am operations manager, event coordinator, salesperson, security, sometime janitor and maintainance worker, sound, lights and a/v specialist (I don't think I've ever seen an actual description for my position) for an unnamed local performing arts/special events venue. My workload is best described as feast or famine, so I kill varying amounts of time on BF.

Yes. I help provide internet/phone service/web hosting/email/lotso'othercrap to Maine schools and libraries. As it is the summer I have nearly nothing to do except read economics journals, web comics, and BF.

Yep, I'm at work. I'm the manager and as long as everything is getting done I have a lot of free time. That may change in a few months however due to expansion.

Back to work for another long miserable week in the salt mine. er comfortable air conditioned office. I finally have a little work to do today but I am trying to pace myself. I might have to interupt my time on BF a few time today.
