"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Could it be??

I've been on vacation in NYC and have been using central park for training. Anyways, for the last couple of days I've seen this group of guys in the park with red and white uniforms with the word "Polska" on the back. Could this be the team that has shown up in THE infamous BF photo thread on what color of shorts people should NOT wear????? and if it is, what would they be doing in the city???

(1) It would have ruined my interval workout
(2) "umm excuse me, but are you the guys who..."
(I'll leave out the rest because I don't know what words are banned on BF and which aren't. lol)

I'll be training in CP tomorrow morning with the team (not Polska; our kit is green and says "Go Organic" on the butt). Say hi if our paths cross.

It's not the national team it's a team started by a family named Masluk sp?. The son is a really really good junior cyclist. he races a lot on the east coast. I've raced him once and he's been at a couple other races.

The Polish national track team stays out here in SoCal every spring and does the LA world cup. They stay down at Eddy B's near San Diego and do some of the local criteriums while they are here. They wear clothes similar to what you are describing. I think there has been some big track races on the east coast lately, so maybe it is them.

OH they might be here for the race at Trexlertown track they are having a big festivle on friday and there is a ton of national teams up here. a couple of them came to watch the junior races last night at t-town

You're referring to the Capala Brothers/Polska team, and as already pointed out, no, not the same team as the infamous "red shorts" team shot

^^^^ please no. It was bad enough seeing those guys in central park and thinking it was THEM. I can't laugh and do intervals at the same time!!!!

No picture, but this is boring. Let me know when you have an actual R600 DA sighting! I ride whenever I am in town and I have yet to see him drop my poseur @$$.
