I beleive that is one side of the fork is air and the other side is spring. Don't quote me on this.

if thats true, why can't they say air assisted coil like everyone else...

Solo air means you only fill the fork with positive air...and the negative air automatically is generated. Dual Air means you fill both the positive and the negative air seperatly, allowing for much more fine tuning and riding style preference.

The difference is as MaxBrokeAway indicated but it's also described in the technology section/icons on RockShox fork page...a quick little bit of research could have answered your question.

Methinks you're just easily confused.
