I'm vacationing in San Diego with a few buddies of mine, and while looking around La Jolla, I walked by this very well-equipped randonneur. I didn't get a chance to figure out to whom the bike belonged, as we were short on time... but I was very intrigued and snapped a shot of the bike. I'm certainly no pro photographer, but if the owner of this bike (or someone who knows him/her) happens to recognize this and would like a full-size (5-MP) image, please PM me.

Try asking on the Perimeter Bicycling Association site. They monitor and record such things. They have a motto something like, "You learn more about something by going around it then through it." They are based in Arizona and a man named De Bernardis ran it. They have a message board for such notices.
