I have found track racing and am now wanting to buy a bike. Anyone have experience with a good track bike shop in so cal? Not many shops around that deal with track bikes. I dont want a shop that is just gonna order the bike for me, Im looking for a track specialist.

Adrenaline in Orange I think has some track bikes....

Try talking to Megan Dean of the Swarm! bike club. She's a bike messenger by trade, and started racing the track last year. She also custom builds track bikes and street fixies. She's really great. I have no idea what her prices are like -- but that just gives you something to talk to her about!!

Rock 'N Road sells track bikes. Some of the AFP/VeloSport racers based out of the shops race track, but I don't know how many of those are actually shop employees.

There are a lot of decent entry/mid level track bikes right now-- find one that fits and you'll probably be fine.
