Does anyone have a complete list of where all Velodromes are located within the United States? Just a curiosity of mine. I know there is one in Colo. Springs and Lehigh Valley, PA; but what about other parts of the country.

Go to www.fixedgearfever.com. They have a listing with all kinds of technical info, contacts, etc. records, and so on for each track. It's the definitive source.

Thanks for noticing!

We have worked really hard on the track database and more work is going into it as we speak! Mat Booth (formerly from www.trackcyling.info) has begun an overhaul of the database. Lots of good info being added.

That was likely a flaw in our google map integration. If we didn't have good coordinates, it put the point @ 0,0... or just off the coast of Africa. I cleaned that up a bit.

No, that one's in Cuba. I was referring to the velodrome in Coamo, Puerto Rico.
I think this is it:

Do you have any detailed info on this track?

I think Colby Pearce sent me some pictures of it a year or two ago, I will see if I can find any info.

You're missing some Australian ones...

Mount Gambier has two velodromes - the one you've listed and a 600m tarmac track (D-shaped, horrible).

Also, in Victoria there's a track in:
Casterton

Laverton

and

Euchuca (http://www.echucamoamacycleclub.com/Velodrome.htm)

Evidently bikecult.com has an inaccurate datum regarding the track surface at San Diego. It's not concrete. It is asphalt substrate coated with resin impregnated fabric to reduce rolling resistance.

Almost every second cricket pitch has or had a track of some sort around it here in Australia. Even more so in the state of Victoria.
