Hello, my name is Joe. I just got a Trek 3700 today after not riding for about 10 years. Feels great to be back on a bike. This looks like a great forum with tons of information, I look forward to learning a lot.

Hello Joe, your 3700 is a good bike to get back into the game. It's possible to do some upgrades in the future, and eventually when you get that yearning for a road bike, you will just fly down the roads because your road bike will seem so light compared to the MTB. You can trade out the knobbies for slicks, though, if you do a lot of riding in the city.
