I'm currently at 3117 for the year. Wanted more than 4,000. I think I'll easily break that. Maybe 5,000 as I like to kick it up at the end of the year giving my fellow bikejournal friends a lil run for their money!:D

My wife Gina is currently at 1700. AND YES, she is an ATHENA!:)

I run my own DB. I just hadn't tallied personal miles for a few months. All I had to do was generate a little report.:D

You've seen BJ? I think it's cool comparing my mileage to others. Watching their little bikes pass mine, then trying to pass 'em back. Fun and games!:D

I found a job with ez work and day shift hours. No 3 am worknights and best thing of all, in the opposite direction. Now I don't have to drive thru 100 mile and hour traffic. Current commute is near college town. Nice bikelanes and very little traffic. I'm thinking about getting one of those cool commuters with fenders and all. Would be fun riding to work for a change!:p

Nope, "Spinning the Cranks", inside and outside....all miles count! It's called Spinner Saturday as a catchy name for a reminder to report your miles on Saturday.:D

Cool. 11? I need to get back to doing centuries. I did 23 in 2005, and only one since back in May. But it was a tough one!:D

I don't think you can beat my 23!;););)

Cool! I'm glad I don't need the trainer here in Cali. ONly once in a blue mooon. They do make for some good workouts if you do intervals!

Less than 400 since I got my Giant in June. I'm not sure how many miles I had before that, since I've never had a computer on my Hardrock. I rode it a lot early in the season though.

I just haven't had much time to ride this year - between work & school, I only get 1-2 days on the bike per week. I've been in the gym 3 days a week though, so my fitness is still improving.

BTW, Gina has one kidney after a donating a few years ago and 6 grandkids. So I'm purty proud of my Ol' Grandma with one kidney!:D

Grandkids? Either ya'll had children pretty young, my eyes need recalibrated, or she's extremely well preserved - from that picture, I wouldn't have guessed she was nearly old enough to be a grandmother.

Miles never meant anything to me on my MTB's. Especially when I can spend 3 hours practicing bike handling skills in a parking lot (trackstands, drops, stoppies, etc.), get in one hell of a workout, and not travel more than 2-3 miles total the entire time.

On the other hand, my longest ride this season was on that Hardrock: 45 miles of asphalt, mountain tires & all. Took me about 6 hours, but I did it. That was the ride that convinced me that I needed to get a road bike. :D

I've got 1595.79 so far. Should have been between 2300 and 2500, but had the little knee injury thing. Should have no less than 3000 by the end of the year, but still shooting for 3500.

2003 miles at an average of 60.39 miles per week. I lost most of some weeks to travel, vacation, and fatigue. I would like to ride 80 to 100 miles each week. More conditioning and less weight will help. I currently weigh 205 lbs. down from 224 a year ago.

- No, I'm dead serious. And don't call me Shirley.

I understand about the miles coming to you easier with two bikes. I just finished my restoration project bike, and I can see putting in a lot more miles on the weekends now.

I've got 936 miles logged on bikejournal since I joined in May. I started riding in March but I wasn't keeping track of the mileage. I wasn't going as far then either, so I probably have about another 300 miles on the bike for the year.

It seems I can't determine, but I know its not as good as I'd like.

I was not riding as much as I should early in the year and the whole move across the country took me out of riding at all for about 2 months.

I didn't really start riding in earnest this year until about 2 months ago.

Probably 1000 at most.

I have no idea what my mileage so far this year is, but I think Tom should cut my Saturday Spinner miles in half.

I just did 15 miles of hills, and it's a whole* different workout than the flats I've been riding. I think my lake route should be 50 cents on the dollar.

I understand about the miles coming to you easier with two bikes. I just finished my restoration project bike, and I can see putting in a lot more miles on the weekends now.

My main detriment was that I got "hooked" on my Trek FX for doing, well, everything. And it hasn't really consistently been reliable with it's constant rear wheel issues. Now that I've finally gotten them straightened out, I started commuting on my consistently reliable Specialized MTB... and remembered why I loved it so much :D

So now I'm doing 15 mi/day commuting, and planning on 40/day on the weekends on the Trek. Math tells me that 150/week should be cake

Mileage is currently @ 2,870, will easily pass 4,000 this year, that will be the most for me in 1 year.

The stat that I am most proud of is my climbing, to date I have totaled 177,500 ft. With the climbing I am doing this weekend I will beat last years total climbing, my previous best for the year. I should easily reach my goal of 250,000+ ft of climbing for the year.

I guess next year I can go for 5000 miles and a vertical metric century (328,083 ft).

I've only ridden a little over 100 miles (since June), but I'm building up pretty quickly now, and hoping that September - December will be 150 - 200 miles each (ambitious? perhaps)... I MIGHT hit 1000 this year.... 700-800 is probably more realistic. It helps that I should be able to ride through most of the winter.

I don't know / not enough...

When I started up this year, I wasn't keeping track of my mileage... beyond mild curiosity at the end of my rides. I know I've gone over 200 since mid-July... and 1102 since I first got the bike... but who knows about total...

1100 so far, never really set a goal. I have a 21 rt commute and weekends every chance I get.
