Foo - Where's my hair going!

I noticed recently that ever time I scratch my head a hair or two will fall out... and now. I can notice a true blue run of the mill, receding hair line :cry: My Dad started to lose his in college when he was about 22, why am I starting so early! (I'm 20) Any of you older fellas use a hair regrowth thing? The Rogaine they sell here at the PX only cure's the balding spot on the back of a dudes head. What do ya'll use?! I'm to young for this! :D

My hair fell out when I hit my 30's. It's too late for me to try Rogaine but it wouldn't hurt for you to give it a try. I think it prevents further hair loss.

Look on the bright side, you still have your sanity, don't you?

Shave your head to see if you look good. If so, forget the rogaine, if not, sucks for you.

no worries... bald is beautiful. I second the suggestion to try shaving it and see how it looks. Don't worry so much. ;)

I'm 20, and I'm definitely losing hair. I can run my fingers through and have a few hairs come out. I've shaved it once already, and I'm considering doing it again very soon.

Just shave it like a baby's bottom!! :beer:

Hmmm... Q-ball style sounds like a plan. I'm gonna have to start working on the upper body though,
cause if I go bald I'll look like a watermelon set on top of a toothpick :p

you could wear a bandana under your bike helmet - it helps keep the sweat out of your eyes, too. My hair is about waist-long but I've sunburned on my part before, and that hurts. The bandana works for me. ;)

Just FYI, baldness is caused by high levels of testosterone. Ironic. Anyway, take heart that you must be pretty manly.

If there was a place where all the hair that goes down shower drains collected the hairball could be classified as a planet!

Just to let ya know. We shed something like 30 hairs a day.

I look ugly as hell with a shaved head. I'd look much worse with a horseshoe. Within a couple years I'm gonna have one if I don't shave. It's pretty thin on top already, about half the volume of the sides. I'm 21 now, and I'm probably gonna start shaving real soon. Hats and shaving are a good combo for bald guys.

screw Rogaine...are you really considering spending all that money month after month only to have it fall out again if you stop using it? and there is a chance it might not even work for you.

Time to start growing a really wicked beard.

I alternate between shaving my head smooth and using the shortest clipper setting, depending on how motivated or lazy I am (respectively). If you decide to shave, use some clippers first to get the hair as short as possible. I've used the clippers without the guard, and it definitely makes the shaving easier.

You know I thought when I turned 21 all I had to worry about was more access to booze now I gotta
worry about a chrome dome too! Jesus getting old sucks :p

Thanks for the tips and stuff. I will keep an eye out for hair on my ears, back etc... :p

Well i am slowly loosing my hair too and i am 21, i dont care when i get tired of it i will shave my head. Then get a tattoo, buy a motorcycle and grow a cool looking mustache LOL:rolleyes:.
