Taking a long awaited vacation next week. Going down to Chatham on Cape Cod. We have a nice house overlooking Nantuket Sound and I'm looking forward to relaxing and doing nothing, except ride of course. We are planning on doing a metric from Dennis to Wellfleet and back, and another longish ride to Nauset Beach and back. I'll do shorter rides in the morning.

There is no internet connection so I will be out of touch. I'll miss you guys :( Be good..

How about a report when you get back. I have been wanting to do the trail at Dennis now that the repairs are done. Mrs Maxx will not be able to do any of the rides on the Cape this fall but she may be ready to go up and hang out while I ride.

That sounds heavenly!

I'm a 17th-generation descendant of William Nickerson who reportedly founded Chatham (my great-great grandmother was a Nickerson). I hope to make it up there one day to visit.

You would love it. I have visited some of the former Nickerson houses. There is also a state park nearby named after them.
