It is sad when people who are against doping take that one step beyond the limits of rationality and become fanatics. To fanatics anything that supports their cause, even a lie, becomes a higher truth. A fanatic will tear down a TdF winner or a World Trade Center and feel perfectly justified as they feel it serves their Great Cause.

It's because they were neglected as children and now they want their 15 minutes of fame...

Brilliant comparison of cycling fans not trusting someone whose initials are all over Dr. Fuentes's documents to murderous Islamo-fascist terrorists. Clearly they are one in the same.

Yeah like, unless I physically am in the same room as a cyclist when they dope themselves, I will always believe they're clean. It's only rational.

Here - here! Much better to tear down things like human rights, the constitution, etc.

The odds of the entire peloton being doped are about the same as Alberto Gonzalez telling a lie at any particular moment.

(A) Human Rights? Riding in the Pro Tour is a privledge, not a right. These athletes if they do not like the rules can go do something else. They f'n drug test for Wal-Mart for petes-sake. Seems to me that for a lot more money, these guys can give up some privacy.

(B) Constitution does NOT apply to Pro cycling. Not sure why you would even put it into this conversation unless you were trying to make an astute political observation about George Bush and Gonzo.

Are you not a person from a more enlightened age. What it is and what it should be are two different things. Constitutional rights should apply to everyone even cyclists. Otherwise the alternative is a tyrant cycling dictatorship. If tyrant cycling authorities can exclude or deny anyone they deem isn't clean without any evidence then how is that somehow ensuring the fairness of the sport. It is worse than the PED use. Get a clue.

Ummmm - did you know your employer in most states can FIRE you for NO Reason...if you are not aware of this, you might want to check the last 50 years of labor law.

Also - I want to let you know that the Constitution most likely does not apply in Europe or for that matter, in a private employment situation.

NO but nut-jobs on the supreme court are perfectly happy to apply wacky European laws when deciding our constitutional issues.
