Mountain - Plains - New to Denver area (Castle Rock), any good LBS nearby?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Did you try your local shop? http://castlerockbikes.com/
Bike Source (C470 & University) isn't too far away. They have a huge selection of bikes.
What are you looking for?
Actually I was looking for a recommendation. I know there are a quite a few bike shops around, but I know very little about bikes and would like to be steered to a good shop. No big deal, I'll find one. I went to Tread's in Parker, as I was in the area and they seemed pretty cool.

Give Bike Source a try. They have a huge inventory of bikes built. Smaller shops will by necessity steer you toward the 1 or 2 bikes that they stock that might work for you. Bikes with more inventory can show you more models and let you decide. Performance Bike on I25 & Arapahoe has a decent selection, but the service is spotty. Might be a good place to check out once you gain some knowledge as to what you want. Sometimes you can get a rock bottom deal in their stores.
Good luck.
